No one under the age of 18 wants to think about going back to school, but Bus Simulator 21’s upcoming expansion will make the event a pastime for millions of players across PS5 and PS4. Officially licensed by real-world US school bus manufacturer Blue Bird, the add-on will incorporate numerous new public transport missions – including all-important school trips.
You’ll be able to commandeer the All American FE, the All American RE, and a Blue Bird Vision school bus. The DLC, due out on 30th August, will be available as part of the game’s pre-existing Season Pass, which will also include a fascinating tram extension later in the year. For now, though, you can expect to see more of the school bus gameplay at Gamescom later this month.

Oh man, I can feel my stomach twist into knots just thinking about trying to find a seat far enough away from the 8th grade bully with the peach fuzz mustache, yet close enough to the cute girl from history class so that I might be able to strike up an awkward conversation. This add on could have easily been a stand alone stealth/horror/dating sim game.
In reality how common is that yellow school bus?
Like the infamous yellow taxi of new York? Which isn't as easy to flag down like in the movies or as commonly scene in the movies
Always wondered if every school have these buses.
Speaking as someone from the UK? Which around our city school buses are now a rarity.
@Bez87 It’s definitely still a thing here in the states. A fleet of them roam around town here every morning and afternoon creating mini-traffic jams. Many of them are pretty ancient, but then again, so are the people who drive them for the most part.
@Amnesiac that's good to know, was always intrigued, ive only ever been to America once and that was to Orlando florida international drive and Disney world so I've not really seen the real US.
